The Catinaccio combines natural wool with Responsive synthetic insulation and takes its name from the Italian name for the Rosengarten Massif.
TirolWool® insulation is sourced from Tyrolean sheep and has a high lanolin content that helps it remain warm when wet, while our thermoregulating Responsive technology stores and releases energy back to the body over time. We give the ultralight nylon ripstop outer shell a PFAS-free DWR (durable water repellent) finish.
The mountain-focused spec here includes a full internal windproof flap to seal out drafts and a storm collar that closes right up to the chin for full protection.
