    How it works

    Replacing the filter in your LifeStraw® Bottle is quick and easy to do. Simply unscrew the top cap from the bottle and gently remove the filter. Discard the used one. Then insert the new filter into the top cap and finally screw the top cap back into the bottle.

    The first stage of filtration features a replaceable hollow fiber membrane microbiological filter, which filters to 0.2 microns, and removes waterborne bacteria, and waterborne protozoan parasites. Afterward, at the second stage of filtration, the water is put through a replaceable activated carbon capsule. This reduces organic chemical matter (pesticides, herbicides, VOCs), exceeds the NSF-42 standard for chlorine reduction, while also improving taste. The LifeStraw® technology has been independently tested and certified to meet EU directive 10/2011 and EU directive 1935/2004 regulatory standards.

    You can choose to collect your item in-store too. Just enter all your details as normal and when you get to the shipping page select collect in-store!

    Our Collection times (valid from May 30th) are Mon-Sat 10am-6pm, Sunday's and Bank Holidays 1pm-4pm. There will not be anyone in the store outside of these times. 

    Republic of Ireland Delivery (excluding kayaks and surfboards)

    For the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic our shipping rates have been updated. Free Irish Courier Delivery on orders of €20 or more. 

    FREE Irish* Courier delivery on orders of €50 or more. 

    Orders under €50 will be charged a €5 delivery fee.

    - We use a courier service; delivery is normally next day but during busy times can take up to 3 days. Please allow up to three days. The courier will be given your mobile phone number and will contact you if he has trouble finding you or if no one is home. Consider getting your parcel delivered to a business address if you’re going to be out all day.

    UK and Northern Ireland Delivery

    Free delivery on any order over €100.

    Deliveries under €100 will be charged €10

    - We use a courier service, delivery to the UK is normally three days but during busy times can take up to 5 days. Please allow up to five days. The courier will be given your mobile phone number and will contact you if he has trouble finding you or if no one is home. Consider getting your parcel delivered to a business address if you’re going to be out all day.

    Worldwide Delivery

    Currently delivery is only available to Ireland.

    However, please contact us if you live outside of these areas and see something you desperately want to buy! We’ll try our best to facilitate you.

     

  • We offer a 30-day return policy. (THIS IS 3O DAYS FROM THE DATE WE SHIP DURING COVID-19 OUTBREAK)

    If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you can return it to us within 30 days. We will issue you a full refund for the price you paid for the item (s) or exchange for another size (whichever you’d prefer). Postage will not be refunded unless the item is faulty or incorrect. You can also return your item to the shop directly in Bandon.

    We accept returns only if:

    • All tags are still on the item
    • The item has not been used or worn or washed (who’d wash an unused item?)
    • The item is complete (for example if returning shoes send the pair…)
    • Packaging is intact and not damaged (try not to sit on it)

    We suggest, if posting the item to us you retain proof of purchase in case it goes missing in the post!
